Seeing all the news about floods and tornadoes in Iowa right now reminds me that my old apartment on Iowa Avenue, affectionately referred to as the Travelodge, was crushed by the tornadoes a few years back. That one on the top floor to the right was mine. Good thing I moved into the Boat House, eh? My beloved Happy Joe's was also destroyed.
